Compensation:
$235,000.00 - $310,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple transactional cases, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and client expectations.
Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to provide strategic advice on various M&A transactions.
Prepare and review transactional documents and agreements to ensure accuracy and legality.
Negotiate terms with counterparties and effectively communicate clients' objectives.
Maintain continuous communication with clients, providing updates and advisements as necessary.
Collaborate with partners and associates across global offices to coordinate legal strategies.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Active Georgia bar license.
Proven experience in transactional law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
Demonstrated ability to manage and contribute effectively to complex transactional matters.
Exceptional legal research, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a top AmLaw 100 firm preferred.
Extensive knowledge of corporate governance and compliance matters related to M&A.
Experience with cross-border transactions and the ability to handle multi-jurisdictional cases.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Effective multitasking and time management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in legal research software and tools.
Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
