As an Assistant Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations while guiding the accounting team members and business partners.Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.

Responsibilities

Ensuring processes and reporting are done in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Prepare/Review accruals and other journal entries.Reconcile/Review various Balance Sheet accounts.Manage accounts payable and revenue recognition processes.Maintain the Capital Expense process including fixed asset tracking and annual reporting.Provide information and reports that are accurate, timely and in usable format to ensure financial reporting deadlines are met.Maintain departmental filing system and assist in developing a paperless process.

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Accounting or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Experience must demonstrate an understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and full-cycle accounting.Works well with others, pleasant demeanor, and positive attitude.Ability to adapt to changing processes and software.Proficient in Microsoft Office products with intermediate Excel knowledge including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.Ability to work productively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Click Here for Full Job DescriptionJoin our team and enjoy The Summit Experience year-round!Wage and Benefit Info:The wage range for this position is: from $29 to $37.50 DOE. Benefits include: health, dental, vision.Team members will accrue PTO and will earn 2 weeks or more in a 12-month period.All individuals may contribute to the 401(k).
