www.ucihealth.org .Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:Incumbent provides routine informatics support for EPIC and Ancillary Departmental Systems. Additionally, provides support for the hardware and software environments necessary to ensure effective operations and gives guidance relative to new applications and technology.Essential Job Functions:The identification of essential functions below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position.Provides application support for assigned departments and work groups. Supports the hardware and software environments across all platforms, including but not limited to, application support, hardware support and troubleshooting, and network support and troubleshooting. Works closely with the Applications team assigned to these areas to coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, system users, HAIS, and/or vendors to investigate problems and to devise solutions. (40%)IS: Works closely with multi-disciplinary users to understand the specific informatics requirements and to ensure the systems meet their needs. (20%)IS: Serves as system support to maintain the integrity and operation of clinical systems. Monitors the systems to ensure reliability, accessibility and issue management for all users. (30%)IS: Assists in the guiding departments, from a technical level, with new applications and technology initiatives.
