Your Specific Responsibilities:This position provides operational and system support for the information technology systems requirements of the office.Assist with the design, planning, implementation, and change management of the Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) and licensure compliance information system as assigned.Participate in status meetings for internal and external stakeholders, including management, subject matter experts, vendors, and end users.Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for the MMUR and licensure compliance information system, as assigned.Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze business needs and system functionality to deliver analytical reports, requirement documents, and UAT Scripts, as needed.Provide end-user technical assistance, as needed, to support efficient operation of the information technology systems.Develop and implement guidelines, tools, and training for conducting technical support.Ensure that the data for the information technology is secure and protected in coordination with DOH policies.Other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of basic quality assurance principles and practices; knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis; ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data through various data query languages and software (i.e. SQL, QLIK, Crystal Reporting); ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials; ability to conduct fact finding research; ability to utilize problem-solving techniques and work independently; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing; ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; AND1 year of professional experience providing end-user technical assistance or troubleshooting; creating and conducting UAT Scripts; implementing customizations and/or updates to information technology systems; documenting workflows and business processes.A valid Driver's License, participation in direct deposit, satisfactorily complete a background investigation, and fingerprinting are requirements for employment.Where You Will Work:
