Job Description - INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST II (T212672)Position Summary:Tier 2 SupportConfigure PC/MacTroubleshoot hardware and softwareSupport, maintain, and enhance DOM IT Internal HelpDesk applications and databasesCollect and maintain accurate annual inventory of all services compiled from various sources and repositories (i.e. SCCM, Casper, REDCap, Servers)Configure and troubleshoot printer, copier, etc.Maintain and support conference room equipmentTrain junior or new HelpDesk staffWrite simple batch scripts to automate tasksConsult with vendors on troubleshooting and solutionWork closely with HSIS and UAB Central IT on integrationWrite documentation and knowledgebase articlesWe are always on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic person to assist us with these responsibilities.Salary Range:
$47,665 - $77,455Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
