is a leading tax credit firm focused on tax credit syndication for the development and financing of affordable multifamily rental housing. This position would support the WD Affordable Equity Team.The Impact You Will Have:The Data Analyst will be responsible for assisting with database management. Working with the Database Manager, the individual will interact with users to gather business requirements and build dimensional data models.Primary Responsibilities:Implement database requirements in FileMaker and integrations between multiple systems.Assist with database design and maintenance based on the organization’s needs and implement appropriate solutions to meet needs and comply with departmental standards.Develop packages for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data into the database from various sources (SQL, Excel, Access, flat files).Develop packages to push data from the database to front-end applications.Create MS SQL Server views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.Document processes and procedures relating to the management of the data warehouse.Assist with development and scheduling of reports.Attendance is generally 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotely.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent technical or professional experience required.Experience with vlookups and pivot tables in Excel.Prior experience with FileMaker is a plus.Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Superior written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.Detail-oriented and ability to take ownership of a task or project to successful outcome.Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders.This position has an estimated base salary of $70,000-75,000 plus discretionary bonus.What We Offer:The opportunity to join one of Fortune Magazine’s Great Places to Work winners from 2015-2023.Comprehensive benefit options that have earned Walker & Dunlop the silver level of the 2022 Cigna Healthy Workforce Designation.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with employee resource groups organizing activities and providing a space for open communication.Career development opportunities.Empowerment and encouragement to give back – volunteer hours and donation matching.EEO Statement:We are committed to equity in all steps of the recruitment and employment experience.
