Job Summary
Designs, analyzes, evaluates and implements network related systems, services, and solutions for the university's voice and data networks, Wi-Fi, Internet connectivity, VoIP systems, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, VPN, physical network cabling to ensure their quality, stability, recoverability, and security.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -1. Implements the full lifecycle of enterprise networking related systems, services and solutions, ensuring their quality, stability, recoverability, and security2. Diagnoses and resolves problems3. Develops and maintains documentation of systems, services, processes, and procedures4. Provides on call support responding to incidents on nights and weekends
Required Qualifications
Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Required ExperienceThree (3) years of related IT experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational QualificationsUndergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Computer Science or related field
Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience in higher education information technology services
