A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. This role involves overseeing real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings within the context of investment funds. Ideal candidates will bring strong analytical skills, business judgment, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Familiarity with securities offerings is an asset.Location
Duties
Handle real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings for investment funds.Draft, review, and negotiate relevant real estate investment documents.Conduct legal research to ensure regulatory compliance.Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders.Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work products.Foster positive work relationships and adhere to firm policies.Participate in meetings, both virtual and in-person as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law with a focus on investment funds.Familiarity with securities offerings is preferred.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Demonstrated skills in both verbal and written communication.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.Certifications
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.Skills
Proficient in legal research and drafting.Strong analytical and business judgment.Effective problem-solving and conceptual thinking.Ability to influence and communicate persuasively.Skilled in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
