Bankruptcy Attorney
to represent creditors in bankruptcy matters. This role involves managing complex caseloads and working closely with clients and staff to deliver top-notch legal services.Job Overview:
This position is focused on representing creditors in bankruptcy matters, particularly under Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases. The attorney will handle court hearings, prepare legal documents, and manage client relationships, ensuring all tasks meet the firm's quality and efficiency standards.Duties:
Represent creditors in bankruptcy cases.Prepare legal documents such as motions, objections, and fee notices.Attend court hearings related to bankruptcy proceedings.Manage an assigned caseload while meeting firm and client expectations.Handle escalated or urgent legal matters as necessary.Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and staff to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity.Maintain strong, professional client relationships to meet their legal needs.Perform additional duties and special projects as required.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy law, particularly in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases.Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar or United States Bankruptcy Courts in Texas.Admitted to practice in Texas Federal District Courts, or eligibility to be admitted.Proficiency with basic accounting principles and numbers.Experience in creditor representation is preferred but not mandatory.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized law school.Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Texas.Must meet eligibility requirements for federal district courts in Texas if not already admitted.Skills:
Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.Job Location:
