A distinguished law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with experience in public agency law to join its Fresno office. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in labor and employment law, specifically in representing public agencies such as school districts. This role involves advising on a wide range of employment issues, from hiring and drafting contracts to collective bargaining and administrative hearings.Location
Duties
Provide legal counsel to public school districts and other public agencies on labor and employment mattersAdvise on employment-related issues including hiring, contract drafting, and collective bargainingHandle cases involving grievances, discrimination, retaliation, layoffs, discipline, and dismissalsRepresent clients in administrative hearings, with experience in this area preferredAssist with cases involving misconduct allegations and other complex employment issuesRequirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney in labor and employment lawPassion for working with public agencies and on employment law mattersExperience in administrative hearings is a plusEducation
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications
Admission to the California BarSkills
