Draft and review franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents, and other regulatory filings.Advise clients on complex business transactions within the franchise and distribution sectors.Counsel clients on compliance and regulatory obligations related to U.S. franchising laws, supporting both domestic and international needs.Collaborate with a team of attorneys on transactional and litigation matters within franchise law.Work with a diverse range of clients, including emerging franchisors, established franchise brands, private equity firms, and international businesses expanding into the U.S.Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in transactional franchise law.Proficient understanding of U.S. franchise regulations and compliance standards.Admission to practice law in Illinois, or eligibility for admission via waiver.Strong analytical, drafting, and writing abilities.Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:
