Join us and make a difference What you will be doing: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective storage, distribution, and delivery of finished products. This role involves leading a team of warehouse supervisors, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and implementing best practices to optimize workflow. The Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate records, improving operational processes, and achieving organizational goals. Instilling a culture of safety first as part of a 'zero safety incidents' mentality in your area Avoid environmental issues during manufacturing and warehouse operations through effective training and maintaining a 'zero environmental' incident approach to daily tasks. Oversee the warehouse team delivering on ROCKWOOL's high-quality product standards with consistency and on time against productions plans and shipping schedules, while maintaining accurate inventory levels all within the budgeted headcount for the area of responsibility. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing the timely and accurate fulfilment of orders and address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to warehouse operations. Own budget responsibilities for the warehouse department and deliver the volumes within available budget while improving cost efficiencies over time. Schedule and manage the workforce, aligning with factory demands to ensure optimal staffing levels and the lowest overall cost. Embed a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse and supply chain through effective problem solving and priority setting. Documenting failures and inefficiencies in the supply chain and leading root cause analysis events to improve overall supply chain effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into warehouse operations. What you bring: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business Management, Operations Management, or Supply Chain, required. 5-7 years' experience in a distribution, shipping, or warehouse setting in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment. Previous inventory management experience required. SAP experience strongly preferred. Commitment to continuous improvement and sound understanding of lean principles. Grow and develop the team through coaching, performance management, and sharing knowledge and experience.
