Title: Regional Account Manager - Europe

Location: Germany (MANDATORY), travel required throughout Europe

Responsibilities

Research and develop business within assigned program offices and related accountsEnsure a successful transition over existing accountsIdentify program needs and objectivesMaintain existing relationships while targeting new areas for business developmentIdentify initial purchases and priorities, manufacturers, product categories and technologiesDetermine preferred and/or optimal means of procurementServe as the lead for all large-scale solicitationsEngage and establish long term sales and service solutionsMarket/Industry analysisSeek out capability gaps within customer base and insert innovative partner solutionsRegularly communicate with industry to ensure a sound understanding of market trendsCreate new solutions in response to market changesProactively seek out new business and similar customersWork with ADS support staff to ensure ADS follows through on what we promiseCommunicate with support staff to make sure customer deadlines are met, agreements are in place, strategic alliances are established, etc.Facilitate direct communication with customer when neededWork with assigned vertical sales reps based on program territory and/or scope of program objective as required.Develop business processes that allows you to grow your year over year program accountsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvementGenerate reports and respond to requests for information on timeRequirements

2 years of experience with military acquisition - either in sales, business development or DOD2 years of experience with MS OfficeBachelor's Degree requiredTravel required2 years of experience in government programs, contracts & procedures (preferred)Salesforce experience is preferredOther Qualifications

Understanding of the Government Acquisition process and broad range of procurement vehiclesProfessional & polished demeanorAbility to identify and maximize opportunityFlexibility and organizational skillsGood grammar and writing skillsAble to work well under pressure, ability to manage multiple efforts at varying stagesExcellent communications skill's ability to build rapport and trust with a wide variety of personnelStrong negotiation skillsSelf-starter ability to work with vendors directly without relying on internal resources
