We are currently seeking a successful, experienced bilingual Human Resources Manager
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resource department within ALTA Foods. This person will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, develop and retain a talented workforce
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
Oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and hiring.Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.Promote a positive work environment and enhance employee morale through effective communication and support.Training & Development:
Design and implement training programs to develop employee skills and promote career growth.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.Performance Management:
Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.Assist in setting performance metrics and development plans.Compliance & Policy Development:
Ensure company policies are up-to-date and compliant with labor laws and regulations.Conduct audits and implement procedures to minimize risk and maintain compliance.Compensation & Benefits:
Administer employee benefits programs and compensation structures.Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive salary packages.Workplace Safety:
Collaborate with management to promote workplace safety and implement health and safety policies.Qualifications:
Must be bilingual in English and SpanishBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the food manufacturing or related industry.Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
