Sales Executive - Index Licensing

Help grow the Nasdaq Index business in the US as part of our dynamic and growing Index Licensing Sales team by working with investment product issuers to bring new innovative investment products to market tracking Nasdaq indexes. Focus will be on working with ETF issuers and other financial market participants across investment vehicles in the US to support new product development efforts by licensing existing and newly developed Nasdaq Index concepts. This individual will be an integral part of the index solutions team, responsible for driving revenue and index adoption across asset and wealth managers, collaborating internally across teams including New Product, Index Production, Marketing, Research, Investor Distribution, Strategic Relationship Management, ETF listings, Index Options, and Executive Leadership.
Candidate should be able to identify new investment product ideas that will resonate in the US while being a strategic fit for both Nasdaq and its clients.
Manage existing relationships with current Nasdaq Index licensees in an effort to maintain existing business and generate new product opportunities Develop new relationships for Nasdaq's Index Licensing business with US investment product issuers and close new opportunities for launch of new investment products Attend and support regional industry conference activity Collaborate in partnership with the Global Head of Investor Distribution along with Nasdaq's Index Research and Marketing teams to guide deployment of Nasdaq resources that will help facilitate flows into partnered investment products tracking Nasdaq indexes Support the full range of Nasdaq's existing index business relationship with US clients in partnership with the Strategic Relationship Management team on aspects ranging from operational support to the revamp of existing index methodologies. Collaborate with teams across Nasdaq to understand the full breadth of services Nasdaq provides and identify cross sell opportunities through the One Nasdaq approach Education Required: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, CFA, CAIA, CMT or other relevant certification preferred Experience Required: At least 7 years involvement in the US ETF ecosystem with experience in a sales position or client facing role Languages Required: English Ability to identify new prospects, create new opportunities, and build and manage client relationships Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to tackle complex commercial and strategic problems A lifelong learner equipped with a fundamental understanding of capital markets, investing, portfolio management, and important financial and technological trends impacting global markets Proven ability to work and navigate in a matrix organization, including partnering, consulting, and building consensus among internal stakeholders and leadership. Ability to travel extensively to meet with prospects and clients
This position offers the opportunity for a

The base pay range for this role is $127,400 - $212,300. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
