Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Transportation EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:Support Rail and Transit Project Managers and Engineers to develop track and civil design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Take responsibility for civil and track engineering assignments, including drainage, roadway and utilities tasks.Develop design criteria, project guides, project meeting notes, and project controls while supporting Project Manager.Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred Qualifications

Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Hands-on experience with AutoCAD C3D, MicroStation and InRoads.Strong interest in railroad and transit design.Required Qualifications

Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3D.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.What We BelieveHDR is our company.
