Role: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to assist the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in advancing the Modernized e-File (MeF) infrastructure. This role focuses on aligning the infrastructure with future architectural standards and enhancing DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities Designs and enhances the infrastructure architectures for the Modernized e-File (MeF) system. Recommends Architectural Solutions for migrating MeF to containerized environments and cloud platforms. Leads and coordinates a team of three senior infrastructure architects, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment on projects. Delivers Level of Effort (LOE) Estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs (Vendor Request for Offerings). Advises on the Implementation of DevSecOps practices to improve the MeF infrastructure. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a computer related degree. 10 years in infrastructure architecture for complex programs. 5 years leading teams of architects or developers. 4 years with Java EE applications, cloud migration, and microservices. Proficiency with Linux, server/network virtualization, and security practices. Experience with CM tools like IBM EWM and Git. Development of VROM (Vulnerability Risk and Operations Management) estimates. Familiarity with infrastructure products (e.g., JBoss, WebSphere). Clearance: Must have a current IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation). Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: Relational database experience. Knowledge of CMMI Level 3 Process Areas and Agile methodologies. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible).
