The
Administrative Coordinator (Medical Education)
will support the daily operations of AIRP (ACR's Institute for Radiologic Pathology) international and categorical courses and conferences. The role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution and continual improvement of the educational programs. Multifaceted responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of tasks aimed at optimizing efficiency, enhancing participant experience, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. At the core of this position is the meticulous organization and prioritization of tasks essential to the successful management of AIRP courses. This involves not only routine operational tasks but also the proactive initiation of changes and the swift resolution of issues, demonstrating agility and problem-solving acumen.
This position also serves as a dependable backup support for other courses, showcasing versatility and commitment to the program's overall success. As the first point of contact for all international and categorical courses, this role establishes and maintains effective communication channels, fostering a responsive and participant-focused environment.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of AIRP international and categorical courses, organizing and prioritizing tasks, initiating changes, and resolving issues.Collaborate with international conference providers and work with AIRP faculty to arrange course schedulesCoordinate with faculty to select speakers for presentations at international conferences.Lead course support: handling electronic distribution of materials, utilizing the learning management system (LMS) for organization and communication.Prepare and distribute course certificates and surveys for categorical and 4-week courses.Ensure proper documentation for all courses.Manage various software platforms for each course (e.g., Canvas, Highmarks), including maintaining enrollments, scheduling events, managing changes, and providing technical assistance.Collaborate internally and externally to implement educational sessions and organize online resources.Regularly communicate with participants regarding logistics and course requirements.Work with the marketing team to create and manage social media content for AIRP categorical courses on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
3+ years of related experience ( w/graduate medical education or healthcare settings a big plus!)Organizing projects, coordinating programs, detail-oriented planning, and collaboration at all levels

This position will work a hybrid schedule, with required daily attendance 8 weeks out of the year (March & September) in our Silver Spring, MD office location. When working remotely, you must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management skills, and be highly organized in an environment where shifting priorities are the norm. A reliable internet connection is a must!

ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably. It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances. Full-time employees work a 37.5 hour work week, for a total of 1950 hours annually, furthering our commitment to a healthy work-life balance. A reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range is $21.00–$28.00.
