The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping the company to plan policy and administer important functions, such as employee relations, employee training, leadership training, onboarding, and performance management, background checks, CORI check.
ROLE OBJECTIVES:Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operationsConduct Employee Relations meetings with employees, including investigations, policy clarification, coaching, and terminationsConduct exit interviewsParticipate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirementsSuggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve the employees' experienceEnsure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as requiredKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, including, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations, completing personnel transactions.Assist with administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and complianceProvide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations mattersGeneral Audits and projects as neededBuild trackers and organize dataCreating streamlined processesProvide backup for HR Director and teamAssist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policiesSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You've done this before-you have experience in an environment with constant change; 5+ years of experience working as a People Partner, HR Manager, HR Program Manager, or similar roleStrong values with a clear inner core of purpose-driven leadership.Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordBachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field2 years+ working in HR team or roleExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awarenessResourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience working in an HR departmentNatural interpersonal and communication skillsStrong detail-oriented and resourceful mindsetKnowledge of HR federal laws and regulationsHas developed emotional intelligenceFamiliar with internal software systems for data tracking and organizationPreferred: Experience with training and onboardingExperience working with 500+ FTE'sPreferred: Experience working in health care environment
Salary Range
$70,000 To 80,000
