What You’ll Do:
- Maintain & Support the Firm’s IT infrastructure, ensuring hardware, software, networks, and security operations support an efficient and seamless work environment, provide responsive daily support to users by addressing technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and delivering effective solutions.
- Manage and Support desktop & laptop deployments and regular security updates via deployment tools and ensure prior testing is completed.
- Undertake user creation and termination tasks in Active Directory, Azure AD, ensure that correct and safe procedures are used during the preparation and setting up of equipment.
- Support Operating systems (Windows Server 2016 and above, Windows 10 and above), M365 and software updates, provide support of user mailboxes, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint directories
- Partner with IT Operations Manager to provide comprehensive onboarding and training for staff on IT-related matters, including new equipment and software, to ensure a smooth transition and effective use of technology.
- Monitor, analyze system performance and usage logs to recommend improvements, enhance efficiency to improve user experience and overall security.
- Collaborate with IT Operations Manager on the installation, and maintenance of hardware and software, ensuring that all technology is up-to-date and functioning optimally to meet user needs.
- Manage IT-related projects assigned to you by coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets to support organizational goals and improve technology solutions.
- Co-create and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices as directed to ensure a secure, efficient, and user-friendly IT environment.
- Collaborate with IT Manager to support and improve employee lifecycle, from onboarding and ongoing support to offboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all staff.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the Financial Services Industry to ensure we leverage the best solutions available.

- Minimum competencies and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or relevant demonstrated work experience and certifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Services or a related role.
- Strong customer service and excellent communication skills.
- Strong technical background with a focus on tools that align with the needs of a Professional Services Organization, must have proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, PowerShell / CMD, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft, InTune Endpoint Manager, Windows 10 / 11 / Server, IOS, iPadOS, MacOS, Android.Broad experience with SaaS technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot. Experience thinking critically and analytically to provide solutions to complex problems, focusing on continuous improvement
- Flexible and responsive to new challenges, user needs, and technological advancements.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and data privacy regulations (GLBA, CCPA, GDPR, NY Shield Act etc.).
- Ability to remain flexible, seek feedback and adapt to change.
- Hybrid position: Must be onsite 2-3 days per week in our NYC Location.Ability to travel to CT office when needed.
Preferred competencies, qualifications & certifications:
- Microsoft Office 365 Fundamentals, and AZ-900 Certification, Power BI proficiency
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
- ITIL V.4
- Experience in an Accounting Firm a plus
- Experience with CCH Axcess Suite of Products, QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Online and Salesforce
- API knowledge
- Experience providing IT training or presentations to employees
