Are you a detail-oriented Senior Estimator looking for an exciting opportunity with a top-tier Commercial General Contractor in Austin? They specialize in a wide range of projects, including Commercial Offices, Healthcare, Religious, Education, and Municipal sectors, with a mix of ground-up construction and renovation work. We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join the team and contribute to the success of high-profile projects by delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including both ground-up and renovation projects
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand scope and requirements
• Lead and coordinate the bid process, working with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop value engineering options and cost-saving strategies
• Evaluate risks and develop contingency plans to ensure project budgets are maintained
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Stay up to date with industry trends, construction costs, and market conditions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating commercial construction projects, including ground-up and renovations
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Proficiency in estimating software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is preferred
