Akkodis is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician for a Hybrid (6 weeks of onsite training then remote) 6-Month Contract to Hire opportunity with a client located in Louisville, Kentucky. The Help Desk Support Technician will need to have open availability, including nights and weekends, and at least 6 months of technical support experience.

Pay/Salary Range: $17-19/HR

Help Desk Support Technician job responsibilities include:

  • Provide efficient and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Collaborate with other team members to escalate and resolve complex problems
  • Document and track all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Ensure a positive customer experience through excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures for IT support

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 6 months of technical support experience
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Open availability to meet the demands of the support schedule
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
