Desktop Support Technician
to join the team of our client - a leading energy and gas company!You'll be an integral part of the team - you will be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance, as well as handle incoming calls and provide essential support for desktop operations, including setting up printers and troubleshooting network issues.What will your day-to-day look like?Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and maintenance on laptops, tablets, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.Install, configure, and troubleshoot core and non-core software (specialized applications) as needed.Troubleshoot and resolve network and networked peripheral issues (e.g., Wi-Fi, MiFi).Document troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system and share findings with peers. Ensure timely ticket closeout.Update physical assets in the asset management tracking system.Educate customers on the optimal use of IT and offer self-help troubleshooting options.Assist with customer service-related responsibilities when required.Look for opportunities to engage and empower end users, ensuring they leave each interaction feeling more productive and confident with IT solutions.What's required?Minimum of six years of relevant job experience in IT support.High school diploma or equivalent certification is mandatory.What's next?Apply Now!
