Asset management focus on the strategic planning for the care of physical assets throughout their lifecycle. The department collaborates across the organization to support technologies, processes, and culture that contribute to a strong asset management program.

Bus

iness Analyst (BA) 1, 2, or 3

role in Metro Transit Asset Management ensures that technical and business solutions being developed satisfy the needs of the Asset Managment functions within Metro Transit and across the Council. The position supports strategic planning, business operations and processes, analyze business needs and requirements, creates and develops documentation, technology procurements, and future technology innovation pilots.The position is eligible for hybrid (both remote and onsite) telework arrangement. The candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Meet regularly with Transit business units to analyze, map and document current state of technology systems and business processes.Build consensus across maintenance groups on future state workflows and business processes.Assist with technology strategic roadmap planning ensuring alignment with business capabilities and technology needs.Identify and develop asset performance measures, key performance indicators, quality assurance metrics, and improvement measures across multi-functional teams.Assist in developing and providing operational and regulatory report capabilities (flow charts, statistical trend analysis, dashboard) relating to asset management.Perform functional requirement gathering activities for projects and initiatives, developing standardized use cases that can be utilized by implementation teams ensuring regulatory compliance.Consult and coordinate with managers, supervisors, and other departments on business requirements and opportunities to improve asset management business practices.Perform other duties as assigned.What education and experience are required for this job (minimum qualifications)
