OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic HR team. This role is focused on leading HR Operations, administering employee investigations, and implementing HR technology enhancements unlocking organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling sensitive investigations, promoting positive workplace culture, and utilizing HR systems to optimize HR processes and support business objectives.

ResponsibilitiesThe following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.Employee Investigations:Lead and conduct thorough, fair, and unbiased investigations into employee concerns, complaints, and incidents (e.g., harassment, discrimination, workplace misconduct).Partner with legal and VP of HR to ensure investigations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.Prepare detailed reports, findings, and recommendations following investigations, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.Provide guidance to managers and employees on the proper handling of sensitive issues and conflict resolution.Support the development and implementation of corrective actions based on investigation outcomes.People Management & Employee Relations:Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution.Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, trust, and respect among employees and leadership.Lead efforts to address employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention by analyzing feedback, developing strategies, and driving initiatives to improve company culture.Support managers with disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies.Manage employee escalations and complaints, working to resolve issues promptly and professionally.Develop and lead training programs to enhance leadership and people management skills across the organization.HR Technology & Process Improvement:Oversee the integration and utilization of HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other applicable software) to streamline HR processes and improve data accuracy.Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving data-informed decision-making.Partner with Corporate HR and other stakeholders to implement and upgrade HR technology tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.Ensure HR technology is used effectively for recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, benefits administration, and employee engagement.Stay current on HR tech trends, offering innovative solutions to enhance HR service delivery.Compliance and Best Practices:Stay abreast of labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s HR policies and practices remain compliant and competitive.Assist in the development, updating, and communication of company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.Collaborate with leadership to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees.Additional Responsibilities:Manage or contribute to various HR projects, including employee surveys, engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and workforce planning.Assist with talent management and succession planning efforts to ensure the company is developing and retaining top talent.Support HR audits and reporting to monitor HR program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.The Summit is a seasonal business and it is essential that the manager be willing to jump in and do transactional and repetitive tasks to deliver an excellent candidate and employee experience ensuring the resort can open with all the necessary crew members to deliver a wow experience to guests.Assist with other duties as assigned, ensuring smooth operations within the housing program.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (HR certifications, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, are a plus).3+ years of progressive experience with a focus on technology, investigations, and people management.Proven experience conducting sensitive investigations and managing employee relations issues with discretion and integrity.Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to improve process efficiency and data-driven decision-making.Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.High level of organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with business technologies or data analytics tools (UKG, Schoox, iCIMS, Office 365).Background in driving transformation initiatives or process improvements through technology.Click here for full job description!Join our team and enjoy The Summit Experience!Wage and Benefit Info:The wage range for this position is: from $28.84 - 31.93/hr.Benefits include: health, dental, vision.Team member will accrue PTO and will earn 2 weeks or more in a 12-month period.All individuals may contribute to the 401(k).
