Background Requirements:

Minimum 3 to 4+ years job experience as an attorney with commercial real estate experience.

Litigation experience preferred.

Book of business preferred but not required.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in Ohio – Kentucky and/or Indiana is a plus. (Firm willing to pay for additional Licensing if needed)

1500-1800 Billable hours required.

Must be able to handle cases from inception to conclusion.

Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.

No micromanagement. Attorneys are expected to run their portfolios like their own business. Support staff is provided, but attorneys are expected to review and sign off. (Must be a practitioner)

Benefits:

Bonuses: Quarterly based off billing

Medical, dental, vision - firm pays about 80% of program (medical only)

401K: Match up to 4% on 5% contribution. (multiple plan options)

Milage reimbursement for Client meetings

Annual $1000 contribution for marketing.

Potential for growth - equity partnership options, opportunities to work with other departments or groups to expand practice areas.

Dress Code: Casual – You are expected to dress for your day (Jeans and Polo if you have no court or meetings is acceptable)

Onsite accounting department, IT department, and support staff.

Practice Areas: Multiple and adding more regularly.

In Office – Remote capabilities, allows flexibility to maintain work/life balance.
