Commerical Flooring Project CoordinatorJob Description:We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Flooring Project Coordinator
to join our team in Houston, Texas. You will play a critical role in helping our company accurately manage the scheduling and delivery of materials and labor required for commercial flooring construction projects.Position Responsibilities:? Communicate with Estimators, Superintendents, and Project Managers, verbally and in writing, to ensure project specifications, materials, and descriptions are accurate? Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring materials and installations are scheduled, assigned, and supervised? Communicate with vendors/distributors to determine the availability of products and pricing? Coordinate, document, and communicate the status of project materials, resources, and information to customers? Create and manage Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Work Orders, verifying for accuracy, and entering data into Record/Project Management Systems? Responsible for placing material purchase orders and documenting lead times in Record/Project Management Systems? Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules? Perform consistent, timely follow-ups with suppliers and customers? Work independently with a high degree of organizationPosition Requirements:At least 2 years of proven experience in a Flooring Project Coordinator role or 3 plus years as a Commercial Construction Project Coordinator performing the ?Position Responsibilities?? Knowledge of construction related coordination processes (contracts, materials, vendors, purchase orders, work orders, change orders)? Knowledge and experience with all types of commercial flooring and materials preferred? Experience with Record and Project Management software (Field Lens, Procore, Job Runner, etc.) and Microsoft Office? Excellent written and verbal communication skills? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously? Must have a valid driver license? Must have a dependable mode of transportation?
