The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advise some of the most dynamic and innovative healthcare clients in the country on various transactional matters, focusing primarily on strategic transactions. The attorney will play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and joint ventures, while also supporting clients with corporate formations, capital raises, and operational strategies.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive legal guidance on strategic healthcare transactions, including:
Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)Asset and equity acquisition transactionsVenture capital and private equity investmentsJoint venture transactions
Advise clients on corporate formations, operational workflows, capital raises, and contract negotiations.Oversee and manage various corporate matters including day-to-day business operations and governance.Collaborate with a team of attorneys to deliver tailored legal strategies to healthcare clients.Take ownership of projects and ensure client goals are met within legal and regulatory frameworks.Work directly with clients, third-party advisors, and senior attorneys to provide strategic advice and transactional support.Stay informed about developments in healthcare law and transactions to provide cutting-edge advice.Requirements:4-6 years of experience with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity in the healthcare sector.Proven ability to manage complex corporate healthcare transactions from inception to closing.Strong background in corporate law, with an understanding of healthcare regulatory matters.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Admitted to the California Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.Certifications:Active license to practice law in California (CA Bar admission required).Skills:Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to work directly with clients.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
