Description
Job Title: Human Resource Generalist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that all HR policies and procedures are followed and that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct training sessions for employees on HR-related topics
- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Paylocity Software
