Paraplanner & Business Analyst - US Financial

A boutique, wealth management firm located in Fairfield, New Jersey is looking for a detail-oriented financial planning analyst / paraplanner who can grow with our firm. The role involves creating and updating comprehensive financial plans and investment portfolios for individuals, families, corporations and other entities. This position will offer multiple opportunities for career advancement both within the planning department and as a financial advisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Senior Advisors on the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial plans for
multi-generational clients
through:
Detailed data gatheringAnalysis of clients' financial data including insurance, investments, and budgetsModeling a variety of scenarios pertaining to various life events including but not limited to retirement planning, education financing, and estate planningIdentify and provide suggestions on enhancing a client's financial plan with strategies that are suitable to the client based on goals, resources, time horizon and risk tolerance
Maintain and update existing financial plansWork with planning and investment department to balance requests from firm advisors across multiple locations and actively monitor the queue of outstanding financial plans and meetingsOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) are essentialExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in writingStrong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at onceStrong analytical skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with eMoney is preferred but not requiredEducation and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fieldPrevious experience in a wealth management firm preferred but not requiredBENEFITS:
