Job Overview:The Controller is a critical role within our client's finance department, responsible for overseeing and managing all financial processes to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting. This role directly impacts financial planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making. The Controller will ensure month-end close deadlines are met, financial data is accurately reported, and improvement opportunities in financial reporting are identified.

Key Responsibilities:Manage month-end close deliverablesCollaborate with the VP of Finance and group finance team to ensure financial data accuracy in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).Coordinate weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting and financial planning.Maintain and update financial models and analyze financial trends.Conduct monthly financial webcastsLoad financial and operational data (P&L, Balance Sheet, Headcount, etc.) into HFMComplete ad-hoc analysis and lead special projects as needed.Improve inventory accounting and financial reporting accuracy by evaluating costing methods, controls, and procedures.Support purchasing/supply chain management and work closely with production floor management.Participate in the annual physical inventory process and other projects as assigned.Requirements Include:Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Experience:7-10 years of relevant business experience, with comprehensive knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).

Skills:Advanced Excel proficiency.Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred), and reporting tools such as Power BI or Business Objects.Strong communication skills for interacting with all organizational levels.Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Certifications:No specific certifications required; relevant accounting or finance credentials are preferred.

Knowledge:Proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Competencies:Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional interaction.Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.High integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Detail-oriented, with effective organizational and time-management skills.Additional Information:Work Environment:
