REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field, and minimum six years of related experience with increasing responsibilities and progressively more complex duties. Exhibits strong communication and technical skills. Direct experience with Ellucian Colleague system management or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred. Experience with Unibasic / Envision-Based Software Language (EBSL), SQL Server and .NET programming preferred.PRIMARY FUNCTION: Leads assessment, custom development and utilization of the Ellucian Colleague ERP system ensuring alignment with the goals of the Information Technology Department and mission. Provides technical support and expertise to the user community in the utilization of the ERP system and related/integrated custom and third-party applications, including but not limited to CRM systems, reporting tools and document imaging application. Consults with end users of business systems to analyze, define, develop, document and implement programs and data reports based on reporting needs.DUTIES:Assess business operation and processes to improve procedures, information flow, decisions, and communications for all business systems.Participate in meetings and projects with stakeholders to develop, automate, upgrade, and enhance the ERP/SIS systems.Build customer relationship at all levels and nurture inter-department working relationships.Lead development, documentation and maintenance of the ERP/SIS and third-party systems, processes, and programming needed to support the data owners and business.Manage ERP/SIS software update cycle including coordination with junior-level analysts on assignments and installation of patches and custom changes in all environments.Assist in organizing junior-level System Analysts to work together in completing assigned activities, facilitate workflow and assignments, build consensus, coordinate and schedule activities, monitor work output, coach and provide constructive feedback in their technical skills.Use creative problem solving techniques to develop system specifications and requirements. Analyze, review and recommend program revisions to the ERP Software.Lead and participate in projects that are related to the ERP/SIS and third-party systems using technology to support and enhance the student experience and business processes. Ensure effective user acceptance testing, implementation and instruction of end users for all ERP and related system enhancements.Perform other job related duties as required or assigned.
