Job Description
Under the direction of the Property Controller, the
Assistant Property Controller
is responsible for the maintenance and coordination of accounting books and records. The Assistant Property Controller prepares, reviews, analyzes, and presents various accounting processes inclusive of journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and revenue & expense variance presentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares general ledger closing entries
Reviews, analyzes, and presents financial statements
Reconciles bank accounts
Reconciles general ledger balance sheet accounts and maintains proper backup
Exercises proper judgment and presents all findings with a game plan to resolve issues
Assists and supports other staff members and other department managers
Carries out any reasonable request by management that the employee is capable of performing

Education and/or Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with five years of experience in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
Experience in the timeshare industry is highly desired.
Proficient knowledge of various Accounting software. Oracle Fusion knowledge is preferred
Proficient in Excel and Word - Intermediate to Advance level
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Must possess strong analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and in a group environment (team player)

Compensation:$85,000-$85,000 per year
