As a Criminal Defense Attorney, you will work closely with clients, manage your caseload, and collaborate with a team of legal professionals to deliver exceptional service.Duties :Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and responsibilities in criminal matters.Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and other case-related paperwork.Represent clients in pretrial hearings and court appearances.Advise clients on strategies following hearings and assist with decision-making.Conduct thorough legal research and prepare for trials by analyzing case law and precedents.Oversee a varied caseload, ensuring efficient management and timely resolutions.Collect and review evidence to strengthen client cases and counter prosecution claims.Prepare clients for depositions and trials, including gathering witness testimony and expert opinions.Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal assistants to provide comprehensive client representation.Requirements :Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense.Proven experience managing both state and federal criminal cases.Strong legal analysis and case management skills.Experience with complex criminal cases and litigation processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.Education :Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.Certifications :Admission to practice law in California.Skills :Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent oral advocacy and presentation skills.Ability to think critically and strategically under pressure.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Proficient in case management and legal software.Company info
