Job Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing the execution of organizational projects within the pension system, to meet strategic objectives and to ensure project delivery on time and on budget.
Essential Functions
Plan and oversee all project work in support of the goals of the project stakeholdersOrganize and facilitate team meetingsDevelop, manage, and update Project Plan and other project documents (e.g., Communication Plan, Risk Plan, Stakeholder Register, Resource Plan), following standard project management methodology.Manage the execution of the Project Schedule to ensure project scope and applicable milestones are met.Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.Provide management oversight of project deliverables, status, budget, risks and concerns through regular status reporting.Promote change readiness and adoption across all stakeholdersManage project scope across the team to ensure that changes to deliverables are handled appropriately.Proactively identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.Lead and oversee development of all deliverables, status reports, and other work products
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, or 5 years experience in lieu of degree.PMP certification is highly desirable.Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.Experience with Scrum Agile and Waterfall Project Management Frameworks.Experience managing IT projects involving cross functional teams preferred.Strong understanding of pension systems, financial services, IT infrastructure, preferred.Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with Project Management tools such as Azure Devops, Microsoft Project.Organizational Change Management experience is highly desirable.Knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle is strongly preferred.
