In this key leadership role, you will manage public affairs, government relations, media interactions, and community partnerships, while developing strategic initiatives that foster collaboration and enhance our outreach efforts. As the official spokesperson for district matters, you will coordinate with campus leaders to ensure cohesive messaging across platforms and monitor the impact of public policies on relationships with the community.Your responsibilities will also include engaging with state and federal legislative processes, preparing key publications, and creating comprehensive public information and marketing initiatives.The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with at least three years of managerial experience in a relevant field. Cultural competence and an understanding of diverse populations, including socio-economic and LGBTQIA+ communities, are vital for success in this role. You will need a strong grasp of community college missions, district demographics, and current public policy issues in education. Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team are essential competencies for this position.
