In this critical role, you will be an integral part of our logistics, operational excellence, and business continuity teams. Your main responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing strategies to optimize logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Overseeing all transportation operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, fleet planning, and vendor management.Enhancing customer service through effective logistics solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with over 12 years of logistics experience, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership or management positions. We are looking for someone with a history of successful process improvement, adept problem-solving abilities, and excellent analytical and communication skills.Experience with teaching lean tools and methods is highly valuable, as is a valid driver's license and a thorough understanding of DOT regulations. We seek a candidate with high emotional intelligence, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and committed to ethical and transparent practices.This role requires travel of up to 25% of the time, so flexibility is essential.
