Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: YesAre there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes, 1:12Floating Requirements: Yes to MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patientsScrub Color/Dress code: Navy BlueHow many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1 weekAdditional Details
WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE/SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDEDOverhead lifts in half the rooms, portable lifts, vein finders, bladder scannerFocus on patient experience scores, responsiveness, hospital environment, and communication about medicationsDifferent cultural populations are served on this unit- primarily Hispanic and SomalianRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
