About the roleAs a CBRE Occupancy Planning Director, you will direct the department in the achievement of strategic goals and occupancy planning deliverables. This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function, responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services.What you’ll doProvide formal supervision to employees, track training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and lead recruiting and hiring.Coordinate and supervise the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.Establish performance objectives and deliverables related to department goals.Develop, install, and maintain key processes for project efficiencies.Assist in writing RFP responses and implementing proposals.Coordinate with the line of business platform to support client needs.Lead and achieve financial, operational, and other measures defined in deliverables and KPIs.Collaborate with departments to forecast and develop annual real estate plans.Conduct periodic interviews to identify future business directions impacting real estate requirements.Develop a five-year real estate plan and create benchmarks to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Apply knowledge of business and key drivers impacting performance.Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems.Improve existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.What you’ll needBachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered.Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance management.Ability to convey performance expectations and handle sensitive information.Leadership skills to achieve targets impacting multiple department results.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mentality.Why CBRE?CBRE is a FORTUNE 500 company and has been recognized as a top employer.
