Our services range from structuring business deals, offering and assisting with incentives, and providingprograms for companies. The purpose of this position is to ensure the EDD team, and the Cabinet Secretary are supported in accomplishing this mission.

The purpose of this position is to ensure the Director and EDD Division team are supported in accomplishing this mission.
How does it get done?
This position is responsible for:
1) Administrative support for Community, Business and Rural Development team who work remotely throughout the state ensuring that field staff have the equipment and tools necessary to functionsuccessfully including vehicles, computer equipment and office supplies.2) Managing division calendars, coordinating meetings and other logistics3) Managing, processing and tracking all travel for ED Division4) Maintains comprehensive data and tracking for ED Division programs utilizing various computer programs and platforms5) Administrative support to ED Division Directors, including contract and grants management and tracking and procurement6) Purchasing and records management/tracking, including processing purchase requisitions, tracking purchase orders and processing invoices, and managing P-card account7) Responsible for fleet maintenance including WEX cards, vehicle servicing and annual inspections, mileage logs, and vehicle assignments8) Other duties as assigned

This position serves the Economic Development Division of the Economic Development Department.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position has:
1) Strong organizational and customer service skills with strong written and verbal communication2) Experience with fleet maintenance3) Knowledge and experience with State procurement processes4) Experience working in various computer programs and platforms including SHARE Financials, Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint5) Experience processing travel requests and ISTE's6) Interest and motivation to learn
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years work experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field andor direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must maintain a drivers license.Must maintain or complete a state of New Mexico defensive driving training course and obtain a defensive driving certificate for continued employment.
Working Conditions
The position is based in Santa Fe and may require occasional remote work from home. Occasional in-field travel may be required. Ability to manage and report work through appropriate software programs of the division or department. Work is usually performed in an office setting with extensive exposure to visual/video display terminal (VDT), personal computer and telephone usage. Sitting for long periods, bending, stooping to file and occasionally lifting a minimum of 25 pounds. Occasionally work extra hours.
