About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Human Resources to join our executive management team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the HR function to align with our strategic business goals and drive the company’s success. As a vital advisor on all HR matters, you will focus on crafting and executing HR strategies that foster organizational development and enhance our corporate culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including managing union relations where applicable
- Leading initiatives that promote continuous improvement across the organization
- Driving change to support a dynamic business environment
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or MBA highly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position within a manufacturing setting, is required. You should demonstrate a robust understanding of HR operations and have a proven track record in managing complex organizations.
Essential skills include strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal communication. Proficiency in HR software and a deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations are expected. HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar are highly desirable.
