Position Summary

This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Donor Engagement Assistant position for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU).

The College of Engineering's (COE) Donor Engagement team is seeking an organized student to join our team part-time (typically 10-15 hours per week with a maximum of 24 hours per week, per policy). This position will support the mission and services of COE donor engagement. It may be called upon to support the College of Engineering by being the front line for inquiries and administrative duties in the office.

Position Duties

40% - Donor engagement program support, including but not limited to:Editing and formatting documentsPrinting and mailing out reportsOther administrative duties, as assignedDesign stewardship materials such as impact pieces and thank-you notes30% - Data entry and analysis to streamline stewardship processes

30% - Other duties as assigned by Associate Director of Donor Engagement and/or other program staff, which may include:

Coordinating calendarsEvent staffingDelivering items to faculty around campusMinimum Qualifications

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of studyMust meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employmentMust meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard

This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard 125-155-0200) as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq.
