Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with expertise in Workday and data analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and optimizing Workday modules, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing analytics and reporting to support HR and management decision-making. Experience with Seafarer systems such as ADONIS is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration and Optimization:Configure and maintain Workday modules, including ADONIS, HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Time Tracking, to meet business requirements.Optimize Workday processes to enhance system performance and user experience.Implement and manage Workday security configurations, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.Technical Support:Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Workday system, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.Manage data uploads, updates, and corrections using data management tools.Functional Expertise:Act as a subject matter expert on Workday functionality, advising HR and other departments on best practices and system capabilities.Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into Workday configurations and enhancements.Provide end-user support, including training and guidance on Workday features and processes.Reporting and Analytics:Run data analytics and generate insights using Workday reporting tools.Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday to support business decision-making.System Maintenance and Updates:Manage and execute system updates, including testing, deployment, and communication of new features and functionalities.Perform regular audits of the Workday system to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.Project Management:Lead or support Workday-related projects, such as new module implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements.Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to address complex system issues and enhancements.CompetencyEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldSkills & Experience:
3-5 years of Workday system administration experience, with both functional and technical responsibilitiesExperience running data analytics and generating actionable insightsExperience with Seafarer systems such as ADONIS is a plusProficiency in Workday HCM and at least one other module (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits)Experience with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and web servicesExperience with Workday security administration, including role-based permissions and user access controlsStrong understanding of HR processes and how they are supported by WorkdayAbility to translate business needs into system configurations and enhancementsExceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
