A law firm seeks to hire several experienced Medical Malpractice Attorneys to join its team in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidates will have expertise in handling complex civil litigation cases, particularly in medical malpractice, nursing home liability, and professional liability defense. The firm is looking for motivated attorneys with a passion for civil litigation and a strong background in trial work, who are eager to contribute to a growing practice in a supportive and collaborative environment.Duties
Represent clients in medical malpractice and related civil litigation matters, including hospital and nursing home liability, products liability, and professional liability cases.Manage and oversee cases from pre-litigation through trial, ensuring all legal processes are efficiently executed.Draft and file motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.Prepare and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials, with a focus on providing strong legal representation for clients.Provide clear and timely communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and strategy.Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client defense.Collaborate with colleagues to discuss case developments and share strategies in a team-oriented environment.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal court rules and regulations.Requirements
Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.2 to 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on medical malpractice, nursing home liability, and related areas.Proven trial experience in Massachusetts state and federal courts.Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.Ability to independently manage a caseload and interact with clients effectively.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to legal challenges.Strong academic background and a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar (Required).Skills
Expertise in medical malpractice, tort law, and liability defense.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage complex litigation cases from inception through trial.Experience with case management software and legal research tools.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment.
