This role plays a crucial role in managing organizational change to drive a culture of excellence and innovation by focusing on organizational values, leadership development, employee empowerment, and continuous improvement.
As part of the leadership team, this position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer for the Department of Aviation (DoA) and collaborate with the various functional areas and levels of leadership at the DoA.
Success Metrics:
1. Lead and implement change initiatives within specified timelines and budgets.
2. Minimize resistance to change and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
3. Measure employee engagement and satisfaction levels during times of change.
4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to change management activities.
Supervision Received
Direction received from Airport Chief Strategy Officer and is very general and focuses more on long-term and short-term objectives.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and oversee change management strategies and plans to support the successful implementation of organizational changes.
Identify and assess potential risks and resistance to change, and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver change management interventions, such as training programs, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of change management activities, and make necessary adjustments as required.
Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees during times of change, ensuring clarity and understanding of the change objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness within the organization.
Decision Making
Applies organizational policies, exercises good judgment, discretion, and integrity at all times. Decision making is usually informed through a meaningful, collaborative process involving all stakeholders, from the Chief Strategy Officer, Airport General Manager and leadership team, employees, to subject-matter experts and external advisers.
Leadership Provided
May have formal supervisory authority over a project team.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Office 365). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Must be self-motivated with ability to work collaboratively and independently. Ability to coordinate complex assignments and multiple team tasks. Ability to utilize relationship building throughout the organization, exercises judgment and discretion, handles complex and difficult situations diplomatically and represents the organization in a professional manner. Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in strategy management, business, organizational psychology, project management, human resources, training, or related field.
5 years of experience in change management or a similar role.
Preferred Education & Experience
Master's degree in strategy management, business, organizational psychology, project management, human resources, training, or related field.
10 years of experience in change management or a similar role.
Licensures and Certifications
Position would be expected to have licensure or professional certifications appropriate to the position. Project Management, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or Training Certification preferred.
