Our client, a well-established General Contractor in Georgia, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. Specializing in a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, retail, and restaurant projects , this company delivers projects valued between $1 million and $50 million. Position Overview: As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in shaping project success from the start, managing bids and proposals with precision. You’ll analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to create accurate cost estimates and work closely with project teams to secure and manage successful bids. Responsibilities: Develop detailed, accurate cost estimates for commercial projects. Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimize costs. Maintain strong communication with project managers, architects, and clients. Qualifications: 3 years of experience as an Estimator in commercial construction. Solid knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst). Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and industry standards. Effective negotiation and communication skills.
