Job Title : Project Manager I - II Location : Los Angeles, CA Company : PMCS Group Client : Los Angeles County Department of Public Works (LACDPW) Job Description : PMCS Group is seeking skilled Project Managers I - II to manage County Stormwater and Road projects for our client, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works (LACDPW). This position offers an exciting opportunity for licensed professionals or Certified Construction Managers (CCM) with a passion for infrastructure development to lead impactful projects in transportation and stormwater management. Minimum Qualifications : 5 years of project management and concurrent field construction experience for PM I, or 10 years for PM II. Licensed professional (or ability to obtain license within 6 months of hiring) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) . Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or a related field. Effective oral and written communication skills. Experience in project planning and development . Experience in infrastructure projects such as stormwater quality, diversion, and drainage projects . Experience in transportation infrastructure projects such as airports, roadways, bikeways, pedestrian walkways , and bridges . Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Design-Bid-Build (DBB) , Job Order Contracting (JOC) , Progressive Design-Build (PDB) , and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery methods. Knowledge of Envision certification and Public Contracting Code. Familiarity with County practices , Greenbook , and CSI . Understanding of CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act). Experience with scheduling software such as P6 or Microsoft Project Online. Key Responsibilities : Independently manage all aspects of assigned projects. Develop and control project scope , budgets , and schedules . Review and coordinate the preparation of construction documents . Facilitate effective project team and client meetings . Negotiate and prepare change orders . Monitor and coordinate construction activities with stakeholders . Address and resolve project issues and challenges. Ensure compliance with CEQA/NEPA requirements. Set and manage realistic project expectations . Manage projects with multiple phases in a fast-paced environment . Why Join PMCS Group?
