Friday, February 23, 2024 Under general direction, this position will provide mid-level management functions in the Airport’s ITT Division with responsibility for the Technology Sourcing Management section and assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the section. The incumbent will provide assistance to Airport management and staff in initiating new technology-related contracts by providing expert consultation on the process from conception to completion. This position manages the day-to-day operational activities of the Technology Sourcing Management section and supervises the work of technology procurement specialists. The essential functions of this position include: Manage programs, operational activities, or projects; provide revenue projections and cost recovery analysis for multi-year ITT capital projects. Supervise staff that develop and implement complex billing, tenant management, asset management, and accounting systems for ITT capital projects. Manage and conduct Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for Airport technology projects and procurement needs. Manage the Airport Centralized Technology Budget, including operational and capital budgets in compliance with policies and procedures. Evaluate procedures, identify problems, and implement new procedures; develop and implement ITT policies for the Airport Commission and tenants. Direct the allocation of resources to achieve timely outcomes and measurable goals within budget. Build effective working relationships with other Airport Divisions to integrate and advance Airport and ITT objectives. How to qualify
Education Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Experience Five (5) years of verifiable professional experience in technology procurement in an enterprise organization. Desirable Qualifications Consideration may be given to the following qualifications: One (1) year of experience supervising procurement professionals. Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations pertaining to contract management. Experience in providing supervision and leadership to subordinate employees. Verification : Applicants may be required to submit verification of qualifying education and experience at any point during the recruitment and selection process. Selection Procedures : Qualified candidates must complete all subsequent steps to advance in the selection process.
