About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Chief Financial Officer to lead our fiscal operations and provide strategic financial guidance. The CFO will be integral in advising management on financial objectives, directing financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include in-depth financial analysis, revenue forecasting, and effective cash flow management. Additionally, the CFO will oversee procurement, develop budget guidelines, and manage banking services.
The successful candidate will maintain a high level of confidentiality and effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in business or a related field, with a strong preference for a CPA license. A minimum of 5 years in a senior-level financial management role is required, particularly in a public school district setting.
The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership skills, experience supervising and mentoring professional staff, and insight into capital improvement projects while working directly with a Board of Directors. A thorough understanding of financial administration, accounting principles, budgeting, and financial forecasting is necessary, along with the ability to think strategically to develop both short- and long-term financial goals.
