As a PSR I, you will be responsible for:
- Patient Care: Drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and creating a welcoming environment for patients.
- Process Excellence: Adhering to established procedures, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Leadership: Demonstrating leadership behaviors and promoting a positive company image.
- Phlebotomy Expertise: Proven phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patient care.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with medical records, data entry, and computer systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience. 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
